Very Astute observations...this is the world's first recorded case of
the "jaggies"
Even more interesting is that this "PDA" belonged to a Sir Wilhelm
Gaetes :)

Based on some of the photographs, it appears as though they had problems

with screen alignment and writing surface protection in the fifteenth
century as well.
