I though that someone might notice this while I was away, but I've been
told that no one noticed it.
According to the list FAQ (http://www.newtontalk.net/faq.html), the
Newtontalk list in its current form was launched on June 12, 2001. That
means that we've been here for over a year now. A year and a week,
actually. I think that it's really great that we've held together this
far with a 100% community-run list.
Thanks to everyone who's contributed money, time, sweat, blood, tears,
bandwidth, ideas, concerns, sanity, insanity, and above all messages to
keep our community alive and strong - one of the strongest independent
communities on the net today, and one of the longest-running.
Again, thanks. I'll read your replies when I get back from Yugoslavia,
don't worry. Can anyone lend us some rain, please? :)
