The SER-001 DOES work with the Newton Printpack.
I have tested it with an Okipage 6e and an EPSON color stylus 900 via PrintPack v2, both print perfectly.
In addition, a direct serial connection to a Stylewriter I & II works fine also.
While there have been a few isolated problems, the SER-001, on the whole, works as intended.
