Take a look at <http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/archive/21454.html>.
Basically, SanDisk is calling 1000KB a megabyte, rather than the standard 1024KB.
So you have 256 SanDisk MBs on that card, which are less than *everyone else's* MBs.
