Hi Greg,
I was surprised knowing that there still is someone using Newton. I am
not supporting Newton software anymore. But let me see if I can be of
any help here.
With AppleWorks, the procedure goes something like this:
- open up a new document with communication tool
- choose Settings > Connection, and make sure you set "Serial Tool"; you
can find port setting in the readme
- choose Settigns > File Transfer to set XMODEM, also set "Straight
XMODEM" mothod to prevent filtering
- choose Session > Open Connection
- choose Session > Send File and select the file
Hope that works.
