    I still remember going to the department store with a couple of friends
to salivate on the display case and possibly get a chance to play with the
Rapidman 800 calculator when they first came out.
    A real powerhouse calculator ... add, subtract, multiply and divide ...
eight digit LED readout. And all this for only $109 (1960s dollars).
