I have absolutely no problem doing any of that on my MP130. I've never been
exposed to a 2x00, so I really can't say how much better those might be.
The HWR on the 130 is superb and can pretty much keep up with me, but then I
gave up cursive handwriting once I hit high school and took a few drafting
courses. Besides, you really can't write too fast on a Newt to begin with.
A keyboard is a must if you're going to be entering LOTS of text.
That said, the price difference right now between a 2x00 and a 130 just
isn't all that big. (When I bought my 130, for $100, the 2x00 Newts on eBay
were all going in the $300-400 range.) Given the extra speed, ability to
use ethernet, NewtWorks, the extra memory, the extra PCCard slot, the NewtOS
2.1-only packages that are out there, and the slightly bigger screen area,
I'd say that unless you can get a 130 for a ridiculously low price, go with
the 2x00 Newts.
