Re: [NTLK] NewtSync - Addresses just stops

The problem is that the Newton seems to have a varying format for a lot
of their slots. Their documentation, for example, says that "addresses"
is supposed to be an array of additional addresses. But in some users'
cases it ends up being a string. Don't know why. Same thing with other
fields.. they're supposed to be a string but they're assigned a
different class... nothing seems consistent. I think I've gotten almost
all of the problems fixed at this point. Other third party utilities
like MoreInfo, etc., seem to compound the problem. Most of it seems to
be working at this point, although synchronizing many records (over
900) from the AddressBook to the Newton seems to fail for some reason.
I suspect that when you save a record, some of the activity happens in
a separate thread. This means that with NewtSync, more records get sent
and saved in the meantime, causing a buildup of threads until the
system is overwhelmed to the point of freezing. I've put in a sleep()
command on the Mac side after I save records, but I haven't had a
chance to test it since I've been working on the Dates sync.
