now that Apple's released API's for Rendevous, and it's based on Zeroconf
proposed standards anyways, is it possible we could get the Newton to work
with it?

It's an interesting thought... put the Newt on the network and start a sync
process over Rendevous... dynamically finding the Airport routers...
