SimpleMail has a 'sig.' that you set thru the 'owner info' card in =
'unfiled extras drawer'.
Eudora has a 'sig.' in 'prefs.' in 'i' in 'Account Info', tap 'signature'.
But I haven't found a way to do a 'random sig. generator' for the Newt.
