1. Use a graphics converter (for UNIX, you could just use ImageMagick if
you're familiar with it, or GIMP) to convert the image to 16 greys or colours
*first*. Newton Press' dithering sucks IMHO.

2. Set the layout of the book to one of the MP2000 or eMate formats before
you paste your image - these are the only ones that support 16 greyscale.
