<<I've got 365K free heap, and I'm finding that more frequently, establishing
a connection via the D-Link is locking up and getting the complaint that the
Newt doesn't have enough memory to do what I want. I've been doing some
trimming of non-essential stuff, and freezing occasionally-used packages, but
to no avail so far.
Is it possible that there's a memory leak in the WaveLan driver?

UPDATE:
I've contacted the creator of the driver who created another driver that
supposedly uses less memory, but I'm still getting the same message that
there's not enough memory for the NEwton to do what I've asked it to do
(connect to the system)

I've talked with someone else who has been having similar problems. Most of
our settings are about the same, but am confirming and will try later.

The other person's card says it's 16 bit, but I don't know what that number
is related to, and I don't what bit mine is.
