The Apple manuals are a Nice Resource, but Apple doesn't like people
posting them all over. You could say, they are service source manuals for
Apple service people, perhaps, hence their attitude.

Once the site that links to them gets posted to a couple mailing lists, the
links quit working and/or the site "goes away". The wanadoo site worked
for a while but IIRC has been broken for months.

If you have a site with working links, don't broadcast it all over mailing
lists, but perhaps just email directly to the individual looking for the
info. Posting to mailing lists just speeds up the removal process.
