The dongle will only connect your 2100 to your Mac. There are additional
pins in the interconnect port, like audio out, but the dongle doesn't map
those pins. That's why a few hobbyists did come up with special dongle that
could tap the audio out from the interconnect port. The interconnect port
is, BTW, the port to which you plug the dongle.
