I too have gone through many conveyer belt driven x-ray machines at
airports with my newt and no lost data. i spent two months with my
wife and 10 mo. old daughter touring through the central highlands of
Mexico this summer and used the newt on a daily basis for money
exchange, journal, budget and morning alarms (among other things ....
cards, books...)

could I have done it without my newt? - yeah, but why would I?
