With all of the 'bad press' going around about GEM, I thought that it might
be good to shed light on someone selling quality products with quality
service. I purchased a 2100 from mr2ndhand recently for $80 through eBay.
GEM and a few other companies caught my eye but they didn't ship their 2100s
with AC adapters, so I gave mr2ndhand a shot.

His auction didn't guarantee a fully working battery or back clips, but when
I received the system, my jaw hit the floor. The unit looks practically
brand new. It was cleaned before being shipped and the screen does not have
a scratch on it (his description mentioned possible slight scratches that
wouldn't affect writing).

The 2100 was complete with original stylus, screen cover, dummy PCMCIA card,
both back clips and the door that covers the interface port and power port.
Best of all was the fact that the battery charges and holds its charge
properly and the backlight is super bright! The system also came with the
mentioned AC adapter, a 4mb Newton memory card, and PC serial cable (with
dongle built into it).

This auction definitely exceeded my expectations and I suggest you look him
up on eBay if you're looking to get a complete 2100.
