I've got both an original rechargeable (that doesn't hold a charge for
more than like 15 minutes), and one of the battery cages. I work in a
photo lab so I get all the free AA batteries I need, so for now I'm
sticking with the cage. If anyone wants AAs check with your local
photolab, they'll usually give them to just about anyone who asks. They
get them from the disposable cameras people bring in. Eventually I'll
get around to rebuilding the rechargeable, but for now, the cage works
just fine.

Subject: [NTLK] Looking for battery MP2100 recommendations

Hi all -

Just bought a MP2100 that came with a battery tray.

1st Question:

What do you find works the best - an original rechargeable
battery pack, or using the battery tray with rechargeable batteries?

2nd Question:

For the battery tray option, I hear rechargeable Lithium-ion
batteries are the way to go. Any recommendations on a source for a
charger and batteries, that won't break the bank?

3rd Question:

Where to source spare battery trays? (I think I am leaning towards
rechargeable li-ion battery option and would like more than one tray).

Thanks for your help!
