This is what Apple would like you to believe, just a small example:
US prices: $2,499.00 $3,199.00 $3,799.00
European prices 2999,00 euro 3799 euro 4519 euro

Exactly the same models and all prices before tax.
(and no buying without tax in Europe !)

Considering that these three prices are exactly the same models and that the
US dollar and the Euro are about one on one lately it isn't hard to tell
that the PowerBooks in Europe are quite a bit more expensive.

So they might very well be cheaper in Taiwan...
