You need to install "Newton Devices" package.
http://www.unna.org/unna/apple/software/Internet/NIE2/ENETSUP/newtdev.pkg

This is the minimum to use that card for AppleTalk.

If you want to use it for Internet, you need:
Newton Internet Enabler 2.0
http://www.unna.org/unna/apple/software/Internet/NIE2/REGPKGS/inetenbl.pkg
NIE Ethernet Support
http://www.unna.org/unna/apple/software/Internet/NIE2/ENETSUP/enetsup.pkg

You might want to install NIE Setup to configure your Internet access
with that card (you can wipe/freeze it afterwards):
http://www.unna.org/unna/apple/software/Internet/NIE2/REGPKGS/inetstup.pkg

Daniel: a lot of people get this error message and don't realize they
need Newton Devices. Maybe this should go to the FAQ.
