There is a package which will get you past the password... this is
the good news. The bad news is that I=B4ve never tried it, and I don=B4t
know which NOS (and language) versions it will work with besides 2.0.
Its name is "Battering Ram Pro". From the readme file:

Battering Ram Pro - This is a security-break program. If you load it
onto a card and put the card into a locked newton running the 2.0 OS,
you'll be able to bypass the PIN Prompt. If you then open the app in
the extras drawer, you can turn off the prompt, remove the PIN
altogether, or even crack the code for later use (this does take a
long time, even as a native function.). This program is free to most
people, mainly because you don't have to worry about forgetting your
PIN anymore.

Drop me a line if you want me to send it to you and if it=B4s not on
UNNA. It seems worth a try unless you have a recent backup.

Regards
Till
