The eMate simply doesn't have this, and there's no way to bring it back. If
you don't want to use Extras, you can use a third-party menu program. There's
lots on UNNA:

You can only transfer items back and forth via IrDA, there's no "sync"
functionality. Anything can be programmed of course, given enough time, but I
don't think anyone's likely to do this...
