The spec looks good so it might well be worth a try. The sample quantity
would be more than enough to perform a repair.

The datasheet does mention that the product is not recommended for fine
pitch applications but this is probably finer than that of the eMate cable -
only a test will tell us if it works in service.

I would suggest that adding a thin plastic shim in the area of the repair to
reduce local flexing might be a good idea also.
