I just received my MP 130 yesterday and it already has generated quite
a bit of attention at my workplace from both co-workers and guests.

I had a Handspring Visor that recently bit the dust, and I had toyed
with the idea of buying a Newton for a long time, but hemmed and hawed
till recently after joining this group.

I'm still an extreme neophyte with the Newton, but I have some of the
basics down.

People at work love the larger screen, and the cool handwriting
recognition. I hand it over to them to play with and I tell them about
some of the things the Newton can do, and when they want to know more
about it, I get a kick out of telling them its over 7 years old,
discontinued and was the basis for much of what Palm eventually came
out with. I always get a kick out of their surprised looks.

I'm looking forward to learning more about my MP 130 and putting it
through its paces.
