I know I am going to have to get a proper Newton AC Adaptor, but my main
problem is price. 49 USD is more than I paid for the whole Newton, so I
cant see how it makes sense to get it from there..

Ill just have to keep my eyes on eBay.

You can run them off one of the Tandy power supplies (but I don't
remember which one) or you can buy an international power supply from
J&K which includes the adaptors for Australia. Website (looks horrible
