Ah, Windows .....

Sure ... find a Mac user, give him or her the files via e-mail or CD
(floppies? We don't need no stinkin' ....), then have the Mac user use
SoundApp (http://www.spies.com/~franke/SoundApp) to convert it.
SoundApp will convert the .aiff to .wav, NExT sound format, the Mac's
native sound format, Sun's sound format, and a few others I can't
recall off the top of the ol' noggin.

Now, if it should turn out that the .wav file doesn't sound right
after conversion (too fast or too slow), your Mac-using friend can use
Sound Effects (http://www.riccisoft.com/soundeffects) to adjust the
pitch, then back to SoundApp for the .wav conversion.

Easy-peasy.

Should you not have a Mac-using friend, I can do the conversion for
you, if you like. Heck, I'll even check to see if they'll play via
WMP under Virtual PC (Windows '98) for you ...! As they are .aif
files, I'm sure they will be somewhat large, so if you e-mail them
(100K is Good for file attachments), zip them first. Thanks!
