When one installs the upgrade into the SODIMM slot on the back of the eMate,
gaining flash space, does your "free space" number just magically rise,
or do you have to brainwipe your newt before you can "see" the extra?
I assume that whatever's the case, it's the same for a flash chip
successfully soldered onto the free pad on the MB (anyone ever been successful?
I'm going to be trying soon... )
If you do have to brainwipe your newt, can you restore a backujp from a 1.5MB
newt onto one with a larger freespace? It'd be a shame if you couldn't...
