i can explain a few rules that go with morse code at least the way i was trained. basically the code is sent with small spaces between the letters. there is little space between the dots and the dashes. when you are taught morse code they start you off slowly and slowly increase the speed until you can hear, understand, and write at incredible speeds. at some point the code is coming so fast that to the normal person it almost sounds like a shrill noise, but to the trained ear it is code. the letters are written down in groups of 4 or five and then deciphered out to words. usually you dont have time for punctuation or to make sure the sentence is correct you have time to listen and write. it is supposed to be second nature to you by the time your teaining is done.

this is not as off-topic as it sounds, wait and see.

Could those of you who are familiar with morse code please enlighten me
regarding the following questions? Please do it off-list, I don't want
to start
a thread that most list members will find redundant.
