I was not clear. Ditch the localtalk idea, go with flat-out ethernet using
scavenged materials. 10baseT is sadly more than fast enough, even for a 2x00.

The only reason to use localtalk is if you have [all!] the gear to do it but
don't have an ether card for your newt, or if you have a localtalk-enabled
printer to use that's supported by the printpack.
