Hi all,

I'm pleased to announce that newtontalk.net crossed the Canada
border. The move should be mostly transparent for you. In fact, three
messages already went through the new server.

The archives and the maps update aren't periodically processed on the
new server yet.

In case of problems, don't hesitate to drop me a line.

Although the about page doesn't reflect this yet, the new machine is
a Pentium III at 1.7 GHz running FreeBSD.

The website (www.newtontalk.net), and the User Group
(nug.newtontalk.net) and developer (dev.newtontalk.net) services have
been moved as well. You might access the old copy of the developer
and user group websites for four hours.

The bad news is that although the list is ran by the latest ecartis
build, the Quoted-Printable bug is still here.

Newtontalk.net is hosted freely by Bill Shamam who runs
continuity.cx, an IT Consulting and Web Services company formerly
known as Guns.
The move was performed by Bill Shamam and myself.
Newtontalk is administered by our beloved list dad Victor Rehorst.

Paul
