Hey -

Newt newbie and list newbie - so I apologize in advance if this has been
asked lots of times. I did look through quite a few web sites and FAQs.

I recently acquired an OMP/MP100 with a H0017 Ni-Cd KR11/45 rechargeable
battery pack. Of course the battery pack is dead (and I assume it is bad.
No other accessories/chargers/etc came with the Newt.

The PO says the Newt works and I am anxious to fire it up!

I do not have the batt holder for AAA batts -SO- my question is: has anyone
tried to convert a H0017 rechargeable battery pack to a holder for AAA
batts? The H0017 looks to be the right size.
