Using the Newton's local IP (i.e. 192.168.1.xx) does not seem to work either.
I built an artificial loopback using "ssh -g -L80:newton:80 localhost" on a
linux box in my local network. Now, when I connect to deepthought.mydomain on
port 80, the packets automatically get forwarded back to the Newton.
Messy, but at least it works.
