[NTLK] New? 130 battery pack

I just bought a few new Apple sealed in box MP 130 battery packs. Upon inspection all the contact surfaces show several scratchs. I would expect a new battery to be free of scratches or perhaps have one from QA testing. Has anyone else ever bought a new battery pack for a 130 and did you pay any attention to the contact surfaces? If so what condition were they in?
