Hi.

To accept Japanese input,
you should use "E-Kanji" and have to install TapBar and a dictionary.

E-Kanji :
http://www.venus.dti.ne.jp/~yos/newton/Packages/EKanji320.pkg.hqx
E-Kanji Pref :
http://www.venus.dti.ne.jp/~yos/newton/Packages/EKanzPrefs.pkg.hqx
Dictionary :
http://www.bekkoame.or.jp/~kuwa27/applets/KanaKana/Jisyo20.sit.hqx
TapBar : http://www.saryo.org/basuke/tapbar.html

To display Japanese characters,
you should use Gothic Everywhere and some Japanese font.

Gothic Everywhere : http://www.saryo.org/basuke/software/gew-10.sit.hqx
Taiwan font : http://www.unna.org/unna/utilites/TaiwanNLK/TaiwanFont.pkg

GE and TapBar have to install to internal memory.

I always use this environment.

I am sorry if I mistake....
