eBase is a nice package but can only export and not import data. Export
using the provided Mac host works fine and you can obtain a table for reuse
in other database applications. eBase is therefore good for data capture
applications and Newt only databases.

I have successfully used Notion to both import and export data from my
PowerBook in the form of tab delimited files and this would allow you to
export a table from FileMaker in this format and bring it into a pre-built
Notion database which has the necessary field structure.
