We here at The Digital Inkwell are pleased to announce the first complete
version of the NewtGreek ancient/modern Greek font for the Newton
platform--NewtGreek 1.0. Changes from the beta of NewtGreek that was
released last summer include the following:
1. An 18 point letter size has been added to the 9 and 12 point sizes.
Great for titles and headings, or anyone needing larger text sizes.
2. The dieresis with a grave accent has been added to all point sizes
(can't believe this was missing before).
3. Parentheses have been added to all point sizes.
4. Square brackets have been added to all point sizes.
5. Capital lunate sigma now has access from shorter keystroke (option-s).
6. Greek quotation marks have been added to all point sizes.
7. The U.S. dollar sign has been added to all point sizes.
8. A Macintosh version of the font is now included with all .sit and
.zip downloads. This can assist in document compatability when
transferring between the Newton and Macintosh computers. This can also
help when making NewtonBooks using Newton BookMaker. The Macintosh font
is compatible through Mac OS 9.2, and will run in Mac OS X's "classic" mode.
NewtGreek 1.0 is free. It may also be posted to Newton software sites
that allow free downloads (such as UNNA). You can also download it from
our site at:

NewtGreek can also be placed onto older Newtons running NewtonOS 1.x.
