Only if it is a PCMCIA Type II card. CardBus cards will never work with
the Newton. The main difference between Type II and CardBus is that Type
II is more or less an extension of the old ISA bus whereas CardBus is
based on PCI.

I doubt that there are any Type II USB cards. Even if there would be
some, writing a USB driver is way too much work. For any driver-related
development, you can take Linux as a nice example, both for how much
time it took to get it implemented and for how complex the
implementation is.
