I know this is only a bit of fun, but being an electrician and having had my
fair share of electric shocks it is important to point out that it is not
particularly the voltage, but the current that kills.

Remember that it only takes between 20-40 volts to kill most farm animals,
cattle, sheep etc..

That is why farmers/zoo's and animal reserves use 12v car battery based
electric fence systems.

If you want to know what its like get hold of an old insulation resistance
meter ("megger" is the UK brand name) and get someone to crank it up while
you hold both contacts.
(I don't really recommend this, it was an apprentices prank whilst I was
training. But it certainly wakes you up).

Always best to remember that you can't smell it, see it or hear it but my
god can you feel it.
