No. The original Newton adapters are 9 Watt
7.5 Volt (Newton 2000, Newton 2100, eMate) and
3.5 Watt 7.0 Volt (all earlier models). Using
anything else, especially adapters with a voltage
of more than 7.5 Volt, is making destiny an offer.
