[NTLK] Just bought an eMate, need advice on mem. cards

Hi, I've been a member of NewtonTalk since October, '01, I believe, but
recently I haven't had much to talk about, as my first eMate was stolen
1.5 years ago, and my 2100's screen shattered last year. I just bought
a new(er) eMate off of eBay that I intend to use for school (I'm a
freshie in high school), taking notes and recording teachers rambling
on. I know that the quality of the recording can be changed, making
the size of the file smaller or larger, but I need rather specific
information on how big a memory card I would need if I was to store
approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes a school day of audio at any
quality level. 16MB? 32? 8?

Thank you very much,

P.S. Is Dr. Newton still around? Last time I heard, he had just
changed his domain name. What is the new URL? Does he offer screen
replacements for MP U2100s?

work
another company could come along and copy your work and market it under
it's own name... without legal restraints to such copying, companies
like Apple could not afford to advance the state of the art"
