[NTLK] MP3 Settings (smallest size possible)

Really? I figured most Newton users would have found a compression much smaller than this! At 32/64 the size of the Mp3 is 1/4th the size of the typical Mp3 of iTunes set at 160 kps. I've also found that the Mp3's play without skipping on a ATA flash card, though downloading to a ATA card still takes a bit.

Generally right now, a 64 kps mp3 takes less than two minutes over Appletalk to download on a linear flash card. I usually turn around and duplicate the Mp3 from that linear flash to the larger ATA flash, with takes about 6-7 minutes a Mp3.

IMNSHO, hasn't this been figured out before now? :)

I will say this, the iTunes plugin, once you get the hang of it, is a WONDERFUL utility for the Newton. Shame they do not have it working yet for OS X, or the new PC version of iTunes. To the author of that plugin... wonderful work. Hope the later two are possible in the future.
