I've gone back and forth with them a few times already. They don't seem
willing to make 1.1 available in any way; I already asked for their
preference of unsupported binary, source, or permission to find a copy
from somebody who has it from way back and install that.
Based on their phrasing, though, I'm not entirely sure if they don't
*have* a copy anymore, or they simply aren't willing.
