I spoke with him. A company bought some 2100s when Apple discontinued
them. They were going to use them as replacements for ones that they
already had in case something went wrong with them. The company has had
them for all these years & never made use of them, so the owner of the
company asked this guy to sell them off & he's doing it one at a time.

I bought two from him & they truly are brand new and factory sealed.
