It's the emate. Over 802.11b, my 1400 downloads the MacOS 9.1 update
(70something megs) in 6 min or so. Wired connection, it's only a
little faster.
I understand that the TCP/IP stack on the Newton isn't that hot, and
you'll notice that there is not a ping util for the MP, there is no
provision for that in the protocol.
