Having read up on the homebrew emate speedup hack
(http://www.felesmagus.com/newton/ematefast.html), I wondered if it was
actually worth doing. Is the speed gain sufficient to offset the risks
and disadvantages? Is there a way to avoid accelerated sound and serial
problems? Would the speed boost be enough to make the problems I'm
experiencing with slow telnet disappear? Or is it just a neat hack with
no real practical value? Also, is there any other way to add speed to an
emate?
Thanks
