hello newt-list:

I asked about this a few days ago, but I have ony gotten one response.
for starters, can anyone confirm that the new mail sound on simple mail
works?

does the automatic delivery work? does the newton have to be on
already for the mail to be fetched on schedule?

in simplemail prefs, when i set read items to be filed in my 'read'
folder, that pref doesn't 'stick'. the next time i open the prefs it
is set back to file read items in 'unfiled items'

is simple mail a finished product or does it have bugs like this?
also, what do i need to do to fix all my simple mail problems?
