Actually i think i remember that metal thingy being important could it
be what holds down the ribbon cable for the screen try and ask Frank.
As for the thingy if it is the black thingy maybe you should file away
some plastic on the case or the thingy will pop off again , I'm not
sure but i seem to recall instructions on Franks site.
