You can bung OS X onto most PCI macs, Im running 10.3.7 on mine,
admittedly this is hardly a vanilla 9600.
Its got over 1GB of RAM, a G3 400Mhz upgrade card and a Radeon 9200
128MB ahh and a Sonnet Tempo 100 (its an ide controller) so I can use
some IDE hard drives.
There's
Xpostfacto http://eshop.macsales.com/OSXCenter/XPostFacto/
and the Commercial app which isn't as good
Sonnet PCI X installer
http://www.sonnettech.com/downloads/osx_upgrade_sw.html
Hope that cleared that up.
