At one time there was a registry on the net. I forget the address but I am
sure it is long gone. This was probably 1996 or so when I registered my 120
there. The idea was if you were going to buy a Newt, you could find out if
it was *hot* and notify the authorities/original owner.

Yeah, I could go for submitting my Newt to that. :)

I've always wanted to start a website to contribute back to the Newton
Family, but I wasn't sure what value I could bring. I think that this
might
be where I begin!

I'm considering the creation of a master dbf of Newton's, much the way
that
my Toyota 4x4 group has done. They have an input page that enter your
VIN#,
Mileage and the personal information you want to give about yourself.

So, let me ask the group - would anyone add their Newton MP's to such a
dbf?
If so, what data would you be willing to submit? At a minimum I would
want
the model# and serial# of the unit, any additional information would be
voluntary.
