Stupid me. You were, of course, referring to the maximum number of folders on the Newt. Since I already had seven (non-mail-related) folders in In Box, the 6 I had left on .mac was putting me over the top at 13. Killing one more did the trick. Now it works.
Need to get past this 12 folder limit though. I can't live with so few IMAP mailboxes. Impossible.
Is it still possible to register More Folders I wonder ? (never needed it until now) Perhaps there is an alternative freeware package that does the same thing ?
