Mail V 5.1 is now available at <http://www.newtonmail.dsl.pipex.com>
This version corrects a number of problems in the initial release:
o Advanced users can now specify a mail path prefix in the owner card
setup slip.
o A large number of messages on the server no longer causes an error
at login.
o For greater compatibility, the SEARCH command is no longer used.
o When browsing, switching to an offline folder no longer causes an
error.
o Nested attachments no longer cause an error.
The limit of 12 InBox folders imposed by the Newton OS is still there,
but no longer causes an error if exceeded. Until I come up with
something more imaginative you'll have to work around the limit by
installing something like MoreFolders.
